Make it Transformational: A Blog for Champion Discipleship

I had the opportunity yesterday to listen in on the first ‘dry run’ for the upcoming event.  Now I want to shout - near and far - that the content is relevant and timely to every ministry leader and volunteer, whether new to transformational giving (TG), quite familiar with the TG model and concepts, or somewhere in between.

Here are some reasons why you should allocate just one hour to this webinar – and promote it to others:

-          You’ll be encouraged!  A full one-third of the conversation will focus on two seasoned ministry leaders who ‘took the leap’ to implement TG into their ministry efforts over time.  They will candidly share about their experiences.   

-          You’ll be inspired!  A portion of the conversation will draw out the similarities and differences of TG and traditional fundraising.   When you understand that TG is not ‘friendraising’, that it provides a much stronger opportunity to grow the givers’ relationship with God – you’ll want to move your ministry towards this biblical framework!

-           You’ll be convicted!  TG is about investing in God’s people – not just fundraising practices!  To increase funds, you need to get people directly involved in ministry efforts from the beginning.  Ask yourself: what are you doing with the people God has already given to you?  This webinar will provide some tangible ideas on investing in people and equipping them to have more impact on the cause than we alone could have.

-          You’ll be refreshed!  You’ll be reminded why God has called non-profits and ministries into existence (Hint: it’s not just about the people your ministry directly serves…).  Shifting from an ‘in the trenches’ perspective to one at 30,000 ft. will energize you and perhaps revive your creativity.
