I just returned from a Joni & Friends Arizona (J&F AZ) banquet and here’s the exciting announcement I made…
Hello! My name is Jonathan Roe and I work for the Mission Increase Foundation. Our foundation is located in six cities across the country and we’re connected with over 1,000 ministries.
We teach, train, and coach ministries in biblical development; and we also look for Christ-centered ministries to bless with grant money.
Recently, we began researching J&F AZ’s mission, vision, leadership, and its impact on its community. We’ve gotten to know J&F AZ through Pam Baldwin and Cheryl Wilson, who have been attending our monthly training for the past 18 months.
Let me simply say this – what an incredible ministry! God is doing amazing things through J&F AZ. And, even more importantly, we believe God is going to continue to do amazing things through J&F AZ.
So I’m here as a representative from the Mission Increase Foundation with a very exciting announcement. I’m here to announce that the Mission Increase Foundation is presenting J&F AZ with a matching grant of $20,000.

So what’s a matching grant? Let me explain.
For every dollar that you commit to J&F AZ today, for the fist $20,000, the Mission Increase Foundation will match that dollar for dollar. So, in essence, what you give today will be doubled. And our hope is that your $20,000, coupled with our $20,000, will be just the beginning point of extreme generosity. I’d like to see $100,000 raised for the 2010 J&F AZ mission and cause! So give today knowing that your gifts will go even further to reach into the lives of those affected with disability.
Author and speaker Tony Campolo once said, “I became a Christian because I wanted to join an army.”
That’s how I see all of you and J&F AZ together. I see you as an army fighting for a cause. I see you out there together making a difference in the lives of those affected with disability. Even more. I see you fighting for the greatest cause of all. I see you fighting for the cause of the Kingdom of God.
I recently heard a speaker share something that will stick with me forever. He said that if you take the word, “Disable”, and put the letters “G” and “O” in front of it, it spells out the phrase, “GOD IS ABLE.”
And I believe He is!
It is an absolute honor for us at the Mission Increase Foundation to be able to join you in the wonderful ministry that God is doing here at J&F AZ. Thank you!
