As the newest member to the Mission Increase team it is with great excitement, anticipation, and admittedly a little in trepidation that I write my inaugural post on the Make It Transformational blog. No, we’re not talking wedding bells here. We are referring to the second element of the PEO Development Model: Participation – Engagement -- Ownership. You will see, by attending our January workshop entitled “Engagement: The heart of your development program,” that engagement is what makes transformational giving distinct. Unless we’re doing engagement as the central element of our development program, we’re really not doing TG.So, how do we DO engagement?

It’s been said that a picture can paint a thousand words, and this fall I found this to be so true.
I received a gift in the form of a hardback (coffee table) book that was sent to me from my friend Joe Anfuso of Forward Edge International. This beautiful book contains over 1,700 photographs and is titled “Love in Action.” It contains very little text, but allows each photo to tell the story of what this ministry does and how their champions are engaging in a life of service to others.
